NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. 	A.		AI-71576	The Hidalgo County Urban County Program is requesting acceptance and approval for the City of Donna to be included in the Hidalgo County Urban County Program Consortium for federal fiscal years 2019 and 2020 and approval of the Cooperative Agreement.

BACKGROUND
Deadline to submit to federal agency is August 9, 2019. (City council is meeting on 8/5/19 to approve) The City of Donna is requesting approval to become a participating jurisdiction of the Hidalgo County Urban County Program Consortium for federal fiscal years 2019 and 2020. The city understands that they are not eligible for grant funding for year 2019. Federal funds will be available to the city in the fiscal program year 2020. Cooperative Agreement has been reviewed and approved by Hidalgo County Legal Counsel and is attached for review.
