NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

A.   Presentation for discussion of the following: 
1) Update on ongoing county owned building construction, relocation and/or renovation repair projects

B. 65071   Discussion, consideration, and possible action to amend Hidalgo County's Solid Waste Citizen Collection Station Guidelines to:
(1) restrict disposal to once per day per vehicle;
(2) restrict disposal to double-axel trailers; and
(3) allow waiver of disposal rules for emergencies (e.g. to protect health and safety, hurricanes, etc.) (subject to legal).

Requesting authority to purchase fire station equipment (wildland gear) through the County's Membership/Participation with BuyBoard's awarded vendor, Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. (contract # 524-17), in the amount of $2,628.00 from FY 30 (2017) Elsa - Fire Stations/Equipment funds.

Discussion, consideration and approval to draw down funds for the Uniform Hospital Rate Increase Program in the amount to be determined by Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) instructions from the Local Provider Participation Fund (LPPF) with a IGT transfer date of May 31, 2018 and settlement date of June 1, 2018
2. Approval of Certification of Revenues as certified by the County Auditor from the Local Provider Participation Fund (LPPF) in the amount to be determined by HHSC instructions.
